My apple tree is alive. The pruning was apparently a success, well at least in the fact that the tree is not dead. I would refer you back to February and the mid-winter sawing of the branches, and my lack of horticultural savvy, as a simple point of reference to understand why I so excited.
Growth is life, and life is hope, and hope is anticipation for fruit, and fruit is the goal. It's nice that it's alive and that it's green, but the real test will be in the Apple Pies come the fall.
